In Romans 7:14, we learn that true joy comes from the spirit. It is not something that can be found in material possessions or worldly accomplishments. Instead, it is a joy that springs from the depths of our souls, nourished by our connection with the spiritual world. In our ESOCS community, we are dedicated to helping each member strengthen this bond and experience the limitless joy that flows from it.

A key aspect of our spiritual journey in ESOCS is the emphasis on healing and finding solutions, as stated in Titus 3:5. We believe that through our connection with the divine, we can tap into a wellspring of healing energy and receive guidance and solutions to the challenges we face. In our community, we support and uplift one another, knowing that the power of the spirit is always available to bring healing and resolution.

Baba Aladura Elder (Dr) David D. L. Bob-Manuel, our prelate, guides us with wisdom and insight, urging us to be born into the spirit, as mentioned in 1 Peter 1:3. He understands that this spiritual rebirth is essential for us to fully embrace the joy and power of a spiritual life. Through his teachings, we are encouraged to let go of our old ways and open ourselves to the transformative power of the spirit.

As members of ESOCS, we have first-hand experience of the effectiveness of prayers offered in faith, as expressed in Hebrews 11:6. We understand that prayer is not merely a recitation of words, but a heartfelt and authentic connection with the divine. Through our spiritual awakening, we have witnessed prayers being answered, miracles occurring, and lives being transformed. It is through faith that our prayers become powerful tools of manifestation.

True spiritualism begins with confession, as conveyed in Romans 10:9-10. In our ESOCS community, we recognize the importance of acknowledging our shortcomings and seeking forgiveness. This act of confession opens the door to deeper spiritual growth and liberation. It is through the cleansing power of confession that we can experience true joy and freedom in our spiritual journey.

Our founder, Saint Moses Orimolade, taught us the significance of living according to the word of God, as stated in Psalm 119:2. The teachings contained within the scripture serve as guiding principles for our lives, molding our character and shaping our actions. It is through the study and application of these teachings that we align ourselves with the divine will and find solace and fulfillment in our spiritual path.

The achievements of ESOCS goes beyond human mortal comprehension, as stated in Philippians 3:10-14. We have witnessed remarkable spiritual transformations and extraordinary manifestations of divine grace in our community. The power of the spirit working within us enables us to overcome obstacles, achieve inner growth, and accomplish feats that surpass our wildest dreams. In ESOCS, we dare to believe in the impossible because we have experienced the miraculous.

ESOCSIANS walk by the spirit, as Galatians 5:16-17 affirms. We understand that the path of a spiritual life requires a conscious choice to align ourselves with the divine will. We strive to embody the qualities inherent in the spirit, such as love, kindness, and self-control. By walking in the spirit, we free ourselves from the bondage of worldly desires and find true joy and fulfilment in the spiritual realm.

Love is the core ingredient of a spiritual life, as mentioned in 1 John 4:7. In ESOCS, we recognize that love is the driving force behind all our actions. We cultivate a community of love, acceptance, and support, where each member is valued and cherished. Love binds us together and propels us on our spiritual journey, enabling us to experience profound joy and connection with the divine.

ESOCSIANS are a unique group, as stated in Colossians 3:12. We strive to embody qualities such as compassion, humility, kindness, and patience. We understand that these attributes are necessary for the cultivation of a spiritual life and the fostering of harmonious relationships within our community and beyond. Our uniqueness lies in our commitment to mirroring the divine virtues in all aspects of our lives.

In Titus 2:12, we find the key instruction for our spiritual journey. We are encouraged to renounce worldly passions and live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age. This instruction serves as a compass, guiding us on the path of a spiritual life, helping us navigate through the distractions and temptations that may hinder our connection with the divine.

To desire a spiritual life, our souls must first thirst for it, as expressed in Psalm 63:1-2. We must have a deep longing and hunger for the divine, a burning passion to connect with the source of all joy and fulfillment. In ESOCS, we foster this thirst through spiritual practices, such as prayer, meditation, and contemplation, which enable us to quench our souls' yearning for the sacred.

ESOCSIANS are taught to walk in the light, as stated in 1 John 1:7. We understand that true spiritual growth requires us to embrace and embody the light of truth and righteousness. We strive to live our lives with transparency and authenticity, allowing the divine light to illuminate our path and guide our actions. By walking in the light, we dispel darkness and experience the joy that comes from being aligned with the divine purpose.
In the vibrant and dynamic community of ESOCS, the possession of spiritual gifts is a matter of great pride. Rooted in the powerful teachings of 1 Corinthians 12:4–6, we can boldly declare that a significant percentage of ESOCSians are blessed with extraordinary spiritual gifts. These gifts, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12:7–11, manifest in various forms, allowing our members to impact the lives of others in remarkable ways.

Among the numerous spiritual gifts bestowed upon us, the ability to heal through prayer holds a prominent place. Following the powerful example set in James 5:15, ESOCSians have unwavering faith in the healing power of prayer. Consequently, witnesses within our community attest to miraculous recoveries and the restoration of health in the lives of the sick and afflicted. Acts 14:9 documents instances where the prayers offered by ESOCSians have resulted in the healing of the lame, and the regaining of sight by the blind, as described in Acts 19:11–12.

With an indomitable spirit of prophecy and an unparalleled connection with the divine, ESOCSians are known to receive profound revelations through dreams and prophetic utterances, in accordance with 1 Corinthians 14:24–25. Our community sees these gifts as guiding lights, revealing divine messages and providing spiritual direction to both individuals and the collective body.
Prayer holds a central role in our practices of healing, as we exercise our faith by praying over water and oil, as prescribed in Ephesians 4:4, 12–16. This holy practice, rooted in deep conviction, serves as a tangible means of connecting with the divine and invoking the boundless power of healing.

Our faith, as firmly established in 2 Timothy 4:5, forms the bedrock of our spiritual journey. We believe in the transformative and life-giving power of faith, understanding that it has the capacity to move mountains and bring forth miracles. It is this faith that emboldens us to pursue our spiritual gifts, unwavering in our commitment to sharing the divine love with those around us.
