Prophecies, visions, and dreams are powerful tools that have been used throughout history to provide guidance and direction. At the core of many spiritual practices, including ESOCS, is an emphasis on seeking these messages from a higher power.
As stated in Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." This verse highlights the importance of prophecy in understanding and preparing for the future. Luke 1:70 also speaks to the role of prophets in preparing the way for God's plan to be fulfilled.
Visions and dreams are another way that individuals may receive divine guidance. Isaiah 7:14 and Micah 5:2 both speak to the power of these prophetic messages in providing insight into what is to come.
In Deuteronomy 18:16-18, Jeremiah 20:1-2, 26:7-11, 26:20-23, and Amos 7:10, we see examples of individuals who were given the gift of prophecy. These individuals served as messengers, relaying important messages from God to their respective communities.
At ESOCS, the emphasis on spirtualism and the practice of seeking out prophecies, visions, and dreams helps to prepare members for the unseen future. By listening to the voice of God, individuals can gain insight into what is to come and make decisions that align with the divine plan.
