As believers, we are called to be the light of the world. Matthew 5:14-16 reminds us that our lives must radiate God's love, and we should shine so brightly that others see our good deeds and glorify Him. ESOCS stands for Emmanuel School of Christian Studies, and they strive to be a light in their community by training leaders who will impact the world.
Isaiah 60:1 tells us to arise and shine because our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is upon us. However, there may be times where we find ourselves in darkness, as Micah 7:8 says. During these times, we must remember that our faith is not based on our circumstances, but on the unchanging nature of God.
The Cherubs and Seraphs in Revelation 21:23 need no light because God himself is their light. But we are called to emulate His light so that others may see it and be drawn towards Him.
Psalm 27:1 tells us not to be afraid, for the Lord is our light and salvation. As we strive to be ESOCS - the light of the world, let us be bold and fearless knowing that our hope is deeply rooted in our faith.
Finally, let us always remember John 1:5, which states that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. As we go about our daily lives, let us be a beacon of hope, shining the light of Christ wherever we go.Ye Are the Light of the World: Keep Your White Garment Spotless
As believers, we are called to be the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). We are to shine brightly in a dark and broken world, pointing others to the love and hope found in Christ. But, in order to do this effectively, we must ensure that our white garment remains spotless (John 3:19-21).
Our white garment represents our righteousness, which is given to us through faith in Christ (Philippians 3:9). It is important to keep this garment clean and pure, not only for our own sake but also for the sake of those around us.
As Cherubs and Seraphs (1 Thessalonians 5:5), we are called to fight back against evil (1 Peter 2:9). We are to resist the temptation to conform to the pattern of this world and instead, let our light shine bright (Romans 12:2).
Just as Paul was called by God to be a light to the Gentiles (Acts 26:16-18), we too are called to be a beacon of hope in our communities. We are to share the good news of the gospel and live out our faith boldly.
So let us heed the words of Paul and "do all things without grumbling or disputing, that [we] may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom [we] shine as lights in the world" (Philippians 2:14-16).
The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim was solely founded by Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase. He began his ministry from his home town Ikare. He left Ikare in 1915 and his missionary journey took him to
